Medical Aid rate based on principal member only) - To be confirmed - Advert Closing Date - 2/3/2025 - Job Purpose To support the faculty and department in pursuit of its academic and research objectives which include to: teach according to a set syllabus; undertake research and innovation; contribute to curriculum development and design; engage in work integrated learning, and service learning activities. - Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience - A Master's qualification in a Design field such as Fashion, Product and Industrial design, Jewellery design or Visual Communication Design with relevant underpinning qualifications. - At least two (2) years' relevant lecturing experience in Higher Education - Knowledge of and experience in Business Administration within a design industry context - Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities - Participate in curriculum development - Perform appropriate academic and administrative duties in the Department - Participate in the Quality Assurance activities of the Department - Participate in research - Contribute to community initiatives by integrating community interventions into curriculum. - Develop and maintain linkages with industry and professional bodies on co-operative education, new techniques/technologies, and research projects - Assist with marketing and recruitment activities (incl.
