**PROPOSED POSITION**

THINK is seeking a suitably qualified Driver for the anticipated USAID Accelerate Tuberculosis Elimination and Program Resilience Activity (ACCELERATE 1- High Burden Areas) project to be based in Gauteng/KwaZulu-Natal, to oversee the Sedibeng and Tshwane region.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Drivers Licence with PDP
- Grade 12
- 2 years’ experience as a driver

**Advantageous**
- Experience in a similar environment

**Duties**:

- Safely and responsibly performing all official travel using project vehicles
- Receive and verify delivery requests for THINK
- Vehicle maintenance including regular check-ups, cleanings, and fuelling.
- Maintaining an accurate vehicle log.
- Pick up and Drop off THINK patients at agreed locations
- Working with the office to manage daily vehicle and trip scheduling as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records and paperwork on all vehicle-related purchases and maintenance.
- Providing safe transportation to and from locations for the project.
- Keep the Vehicles, Mobile clinics and Trailers in good condition
- Ensuring compliance with all THINK and local driving laws and regulations.
- Keep track on the vehicle date of service and ensure THINK Management is informed in advance when the service date is approaching
- Reporting vehicle maintenance problems in a timely fashion
- Report vehicle accidents immediately to supervisor and to insurance
- Keep track of renewal dates for registration and vehicle license and ensure THINK Management is informed about deadlines at least one month in advance
- Keep accurate log-book before leaving and parking of the unit at the end of the day
- Ensure all vehicles paperwork to be properly filed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team

- Comply with all THINK rules and regulations and policies and procedures
- Be passionate about making the difference and add value to THINK
