I have exciting opportunity for an Actuarial Analyst to join a leading financial services company based in Cape Town.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce quarterly financial information on reporting and valuation bases
- Involvement of analysing and presenting of quarterly earnings and valuation results, including published earnings, embedded value and value of new business
- Analyse surplus arising over reporting period and provide analysis support to business and management
- Assist with various statutory returns and compliance-related tasks
- Interact with stakeholders regarding production and analysis of entities' results, including asset managers, accountants and product development staff
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes
- Responsible for development and enhancement of processes within reporting environment
- Analyse historic experience for setting valuation bases and improve forecast results, and other ad-hoc investigations

**Requirements**:

- Graduate degree in Actuarial Science or Similar degree, intention to complete the professional actuarial exams
- Minimum of 4 CT's needed
- High Excel and SQL skills
- Life valuations experience would be an advantage
