**Scrum Master**

**Roles and Responsibilities-**:

- Certified Scrum Master with overall **10+ years of experience with 3-5+ years of experience in the role of Scrum Master**:

- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum/ Kanban/XP, to deliver solutions.
- Ability to coach team on Agile Best Practices.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices.
- Should possess knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
- Ability to take and understand his commitment to deliver the product on time.
- Working Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
- Familiar with common development practices, Service oriented environments, and Agile practices
- Leadership and management experience.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Technical Skills**
- Agile
- Scrum Framework
- Other Agile Approaches (Kanban, TDD, XP, Lean etc.)
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle,
- Capabilities and limitations of the Architectural runway

**Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
- Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
- Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
- Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
- Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing.
- Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.
- Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
- Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R55,000.00 - R65,000.00 per month
