Highly rated Asset Manager is looking for a **Manager**:IT Audit** to join their team. This role is Cape Town based.

This role will assist the Head of Internal Audit in planning, managing and executing Internal Audit activities specifically related to the IT area.

**Some key focus areas**:

- Assist the Head of Internal Audit in preparing the risk based audit plan
- Develop and record the planning for each engagement (including scope, objectives, timing and resources)
- Effectively manage planned audits
- Develop and oversee the updating of risk-based audit programmes
- Identify and evaluate significant risk exposures and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Discuss audit findings with the business leaders
- Supervise and mentor assistants
- Build a continuous auditing solution in line with the Internal Audit Strategy

**Core requirements**:

- Graduate degree in business and/or technology fields (Accounting / Auditing, Information Systems, Computer Science)
- CISA / CIA qualification
- 8+ years IT audit experience
- 5+ years financial services audit experience
- 3 + years related experience at senior / team leader level
- CAATs experience
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislations, regulations and standards:

- Extensive experience performing internal audit reviews including process analysis and risk-control assessments with mínimal supervision
