Medical Aid rate based on principal member only) - To be confirmed - Advert Closing Date - 28/2/2025 - Job Purpose - Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience - A Masters qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering specialising In Embedded Systems. All underpinning qualifications must be in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering. - At least 2 years lecturing experience at the higher education level or 2 years related industry experience at the senior level or a combination of the two. - Demonstrable track record in undergraduate and Honours supervision or high-level industrial projects. - Evidence of incorporating teaching & learning and research & innovation outcomes into academic project. - Must be registered with ECSA Professional Body or must be willing to register within 12 months of employment - Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities - Preparation and lecturing of courses for the undergraduate and Honours programmes - Curriculum and programme development - Assessment and academic development - Contribution to team teaching and administration - Initiate undergraduate and Honours projects - Developing innovative teaching and learning methods and materials - Competencies - Excellent communication skills - Strong learner focus - Adaptability - Interpersonal skills - Coaching and mentoring skills - Knowledge and understanding of the latest technologies and developments in the field of Electrical/Computer Engineering - Proficiency in English (written and spoken) - General Information Closing Date: 28 February 2025 **NB: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW APPLICANTS TO UPLOAD CVs.
