**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**|** **About the role**
- It will be required to be sufficient in computer skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal as well as external clients._

**As the Credit Analyst, you will**:

- Credit Management
- Assess the risk associated with extending credit and make recommendation for credit approvals or rejections.
- Completing ratio, trend and cash flows analyses and creating projections.
- Submitting credit proposal with recommendation to Line Manager
- Knowledge and understanding of the following Legislative requirements:

- Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations such as: National Credit Act, Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act)

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**|** **About you**

**The ideal **Credit Analyst**:

- Qualifications or studying towards the following qualifications: Credit Control Certificate or National Diploma or degree in Credit Management.
- Minimum 5 Years Credit Management and debt collection experience is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Be numerate with a strong commitment to the improvement of the Credit Risk strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis techniques, credit risk assessment and industry practices.
