Job Overview

To manage the movement of all DTSA parts from inbound to outbound through the Parts Logistics Centre as well as the movement to stocking points, between dealers and to the end user, while ensuring DNI optimisation and an integrated approach to consistently provide the right parts on time, at the right place in the most cost-effective manner in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supplier Management: Assist with the development of the scope of work for the various outsourcing contracts and work together with Procurement to ensure contracts are in line with DTSA set policies and procedures. Manage and hold suppliers accountable to ensure efficient and successful achievement of Key Performance Indicators across the entire Parts Logistics and supply chain network to ensure DTSA derives maximum value from the business partnerships. This is applicable to both inbound and outbound logistics services for all freight types including airfreight, sea freight and local freight both from a distribution and parts processing perspective.
- Operational Excellence: Efficiently and effective management of the Parts Logistics Centre's end-to-end processes - to ensure that the stock is processed timeously based on defined KPIs, and managing the FDR process to maintain high quality standards in order to keep shrinkage as low as possible within defined KPIs.
- Reporting: Efficient management of the KPI's including timeous reporting for the various monthly stakeholder meeting. Responsible for the performance, maintenance and reporting of ICS controls. Timeous payments of all suppliers including the implementation of a sound verification process prior to the payment of suppliers.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuous development of the constantly changing logistics processes according to the market requirements. Effective employment of the personnel to appropriate costs and according to all local health & safety, and other concerned regulations. Ensure best practice with benchmarking and quality management.
- Non Conformance & Quarantine Parts Management: Management of non-dni dealer claims and local dealers quarantine parts scrapping. This includes collection of quarantine parts from local dealers, inspection of parts, allocation of liabilities and parts scrapping.
