**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
Provide support to the Senior Accounts Manager and Specialist Sales Consultants by
Serving as a customer liaison by preparing all quotes; Update sales activity and
numbers, forecasting, reporting and planning; Managing diaries and schedule
appointments.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**:
1. Account support
Accounts creation; vetting and query management; Administrative support
Ensure Management of accounts with BDCs
Proposals and Order Creation
Prepares All Documentation for Tenders to submit
Ensures all Paperwork and relevant Documentation is in line with requirements
Qualify new leads
Liaises with Logistics for Cross Border Opportunities
Liaises with Procurement for Pricing on deals for Export
Daily Follow Ups with Customers and order Generation

2. Build & develop customer centric capability

Continuously improve processes and the customer experience

3. Customer Relationship Management
Support BDCs in building and sustain mutually beneficial relationships;
Customer liaison
Ability to handle all customer queries and complaints.

4. Planning
Track and evaluate results
Update sales reports and activities and forecast reporting; Manage diaries
With the BDC’s Submits weekly reports on Order Progress and Quotes
Takes full responsibility for the Supply Chain of all orders from Quote to Delivery

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Matric and/or Post Matric qualification

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
2 to 3 years’ sales support/customer service experience in the Steel Industry;
Steel product knowledge essential
Experience working on SAGE X3/SAP
Experience in Export and Cross Border Business will be highly beneficial
Customer service centric; Results driven and customer focused
