A leading turnkey solutions provider in Network Optimisation, DC Power Systems, Energy and Telecommunications fields, has an exciting vacancy for an astute Electrical Engineer to take ownership as Product Manager of their Energy division.

Based in Midrand, Johannesburg you will be tasked to deliver a differentiated product to market, which addresses market needs and represents a viable business opportunity.

KPi’s will include:

- Gather, manage, and prioritise market / customer requirements
- Determine customer needs through market research
- Work closely with other divisions to ensure business and customer satisfaction goals are met
- Develop product strategy and roadmap
- Run a pilot program with early-stage product and samples.
- Assess market competition
- Contribute to information in setting product pricing
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports.
- Drive product launches
- Create training literature with the product owner and assist in training

Min Requirements:

- BEng/ BSc Electrical Engineering
- PV accreditation (preferred)
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in PV design or installation practice.
- Previous exp. in product/ sales management or similar.
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience with Solar PV/ Inverters/ Energy Storage
