Sales Representative

Minimum Requirements
- Matric (sales-related certificate or diploma advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years' external sales experience, preferably within the building and construction industry
- Experience selling aggregates (sand and stone), roof tiles, or similar construction products
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (essential)
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Willing to travel extensively and work Saturdays when required

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and following up on leads
- Manage existing customer relationships while growing market share
- Follow up on planned, tendered, and awarded construction projects
- Negotiate pricing within company guidelines to achieve sales targets
- Plan and manage sales routes efficiently
- Prepare quotations and follow up on projects and customer enquiries
- Liaise with production regarding stock availability and delivery requirements
- Provide weekly sales forecasts and project updates to management
- Deliver excellent customer service and technical product support where required
