Join our dynamic team as a Materials Planner in the fast-paced FMCG sector We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to ensure the efficient management of inventory and materials, aligned with production schedules and customer demands.

Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize inventory levels using demand forecasting and material requirements planning
- Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and logistics to align material availability with production schedules
- Analyze and report on stock levels, lead times, and material usage to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Implement strategies for inventory control to minimize waste and excess stock
- Continuously optimize processes and systems within the Material Planning function for efficiency
- Perform regular review of Material Master Data in ERP systems to ensure accuracy
- Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving and crisis management related to material shortages or excesses
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in training and development of team members in materials planning best practices

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning within the FMCG industry
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management
- Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
