WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES?

EU Liaison Material Planner for Parts ex Leipzig, Neutrabling and Direct Supply [Heater boxes and Gearboxes]

1. Analyse S/F and A/F DOS List daily to identify shortages timeously and take action to ensure continuous parts availability for series Built.

2. Monitor vessel status to identify delays so that action can be taken to ensure that the required parts are received on time (arrange R/F or A/F of parts from Coastal Areas into plant)

3. Monitor Train status to ensure containers are received in the depot on time and act accordingly, if delays experienced (correct Tracking Points, escalate delays if necessary)

4. Hold weekly OP’s Meetings with members of service providers (sea/airfreight) to discuss performance and work towards overall service improvement.

5. Liaison Function Planner is the spokesman and ear in the plant for all TV-3, TX-12 interests (‘agent” for TV-33x, TX-12x)

6. Interface to the Material Planners TV-33x, TX-12x. Interface functions are:
7. Support in checking for the correct transmission of weekly call-offs.

8. Monitoring and reporting of correct stock levels in plant (including the maintenance of stock level adjustments if necessary)

9. Support in the tendering phase for new logistic Service Providers (LSP’s)

10. Support in emergency part steering (lead by material control in Germany)  one step material planning

11. Establishing a close network to relating business departments (in plant) in order to support material control Germany in any queries

12. Establish close network with inbound transportation providers (sea-, airfreight) in order to conquer any unexpected problems timely

13. Support in Problem solving

14. Prioritising Sea Freight containers

15. Responsibility for the on-carriage of sea
- and airfreight as per the agreed “1-step-material-planning” process in overseas plants

16. Support in the establishment of the Supply Chain concepts for overseas supply

17. Support for the finance department in questions regarding the correct billing (for LSP’s)

18. Compiling reports reflecting the status of the supply chain / material supply (or parts thereof)

19. Review internal and external service provider performance and initiate overall improvements.

20. Monitoring of open Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN’s) and attend to them accordingly.

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE D WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?

Matriculation with National Diploma/ B-degree in Industrial Engineering/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or minimum 5 years related experience in Automotive Industry

**ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:
Sap Skills

Material Planning Knowledge in the automotive industry

Power BI Reporting

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum 5 years automotive logistics/ Freight forwarding industries

Sound knowledge of logistics processes in automotive industry, particularly on KOVP and supply chain management

Negotiation and leadership skills

Stakeholder engangement and Management
