JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading company in the stationery industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chain Store Coordinator to manage relationships with key retail partners. The candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will report to the National Sales Manager.

Start Date: 1st November 2024

Salary Structure:

1. Basic: R 11 250.00

2. Comm: R 13 750.00

Total: R 25 000.00 per month

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

1. Responsible for sales to retail chain store accounts.

2. Selection and achievement of listing products, range, and pricing.

3. The above arrangements are to be discussed with the Managing Director and National Sales Manager.

4. Review outstanding payments for assigned customers.

5. Responsible for checking the rebate deductions made by the assigned customers and getting authorization from the Managing Director on the rebates.

6. Responsible for the appointments of Sales agents.

7. Procurement of Retail Chains for Pentel S.A.

8. Maintain and grow Chain Stores.

9. Introduce and control promotion and activities on these accounts.

10. Once a year range change negotiation.

11. Calling on chain stores to ensure correct merchandising.

12. Control merchandising agents.

13. Training of merchandising agents.

14. Managing of Sales Distributor (BSC).

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience in retail, supply chain management, or coordination roles (preferably in the stationery or FMCG industry).

2. Strong organizational and time management skills.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

4. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under pressure.

6. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

7. Knowledge of merchandising and retail store operations.

8. Experience in liaising with chain store managers or buyers.
