Purpose of the position: Established Restaurant in Muldersdrift, Roodepoort is looking for a Stock controller. Applicants must have 4+ years relevant Restaurant & Bar stock control experience. This person needs to be able to load invoices, capture and calculate the waste of food on the actual meal etc

Duties:

- Capturing of bar and kitchen stock counts, production and waste
- Record all internal transfers of stock
- Loading of supplier invoices
- Generating of variance report, communicating it to relevant parties and assisting with solving of discrepancies
- Marketman clean up system, link recipes on all menu items, add in categories, cos prices, load and link new items, manage system
- Ikentoo manage system, clean up old stock, add new menus and menu items on system and changes made
- Training of employees on Ikentoo and Marketman
- Assist with accommodation bookings, quotes, payments and check ins
- Load kitchen stock daily and monthly
- Load kitchen production and waste events on a daily basis
- Load waste events for the bar on a daily basis
- Update and maintain, both kitchen and bar stock count sheets,
- Monthly stocktake reports to be sent to GM by the 5th of every month, including the following: inventory counts, monthly waste report, inventory count value report, booking summary
- Manage all bookings,
- Check in guests
- Quote guests and ensure payments are up to date for all accommodation

Skills, qualifications and experience

- Minimum matric
- Bookkeeping/financial qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 4 years experience related to the above
- Proficiency in inventory management software.

- Ikentoo Backoffice, Xero, Marketman, Nightsbridge and Digitott

- MS Office

- In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.

- Extensive experience in supply chain data analysis.

- Great analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Superb negotiation, collaboration, and communication abilities.

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

- This person needs to be able to load invoices, capture and calculate the waste of food on the actual meal etc
