Key Responsibilities

- Ensuring the availability of required tools and the secure storage of tools
- Performing inspections of equipment as per the relevant inspection checklist
- Using appropriate condition monitoring techniques to identify potential problems and reporting to supervisor
- Using fault finding techniques to identify problems / troubleshoot problems on motors, drives, PLCs, welding equipment, panels, cranes etc.
- Assessing work required / dissembles equipment using appropriate tools / equipment
- Performing work in accordance with relevant SHE working procedures / works instructions

Qualifications

- Relevant trade test qualification
- Matric
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate
- Able to work independently
