Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the availability of required tools and the secure storage of tools
  • Performing inspections of equipment as per the relevant inspection checklist
  • Using appropriate condition monitoring techniques to identify potential problems and reporting to supervisor
  • Using fault finding techniques to identify problems / troubleshoot problems on motors, drives, PLCs, welding equipment, panels, cranes etc.
  • Assessing work required / dissembles equipment using appropriate tools / equipment
  • Performing work in accordance with relevant SHE working procedures / works instructions
Qualifications
  • Relevant trade test qualification
  • Matric
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work independently
