Exciting Opportunity: Senior Project Manager (12-Month Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role, based in Claremont, Cape Town, with onsite work required 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee project deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
3. Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and resources effectively.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational objectives.
5. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

1. Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager (5+ years preferred).
2. Proven track record of managing complex projects, ideally in the Financial Services sector.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
4. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
5. Ability to work in a hybrid model with some onsite presence.
6. Immediate availability is a significant advantage

1. Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage projects from initiation to closure within scope, budget, and timeline.
2. Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams. Ability to motivate, delegate, and resolve conflicts effectively.
3. Stakeholder Management: Skilled at managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executives and clients. Experience in ensuring stakeholder alignment and managing expectations.
4. Risk and Issue Management: Strong skills in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks and issues proactively.
5. Financial Services Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of financial services processes, compliance, and project challenges within the industry.
6. Communication and Reporting: Ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable reports for stakeholders. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
7. Tools and Techniques: Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Trello. Experience with resource planning and tracking tools.
8. Time and Budget Management: Proven ability to manage large budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time.
9. Hybrid Work Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in a hybrid model, coordinating both in-person and remote teams.
