Commis Baker - Cruise Ship - Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods, such as bread, pastries, and desserts - Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes - Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers - Decorate and package finished products for display and sale - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients and products - Follow all safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and storage procedures - Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth and efficient baking process - Continuously strive to improve baking techniques and recipes to meet guest expectations and preferences - Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a bakery or similar food production environment preferred - Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment - Ability to follow recipes and measurements accurately - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays - Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and obtain necessary certifications for working at sea If you have a passion for baking and a desire to work in a dynamic and exciting environment, we would love to hear from you Join our team at Crew Life at Sea and help us create unforgettable experiences for our guests through delicious and freshly baked goods.
