The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Springbok branch. This role is responsible for handling all essential administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient branch operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily activities, maintaining accurate records, coordinating office functions, and assisting the team to meet objectives.

The position reports to: GM Operations.

Your responsibilities may include:

1. Overall management and coordination of all warehousing function in the Outbound area.
2. Outbound operations will include Inventory management, picking, packing, staging and handover/dispatching of stock.
3. Ensuring returned damaged stock is processed and ready for collection on time and in full.
4. Introduce and maintain daily productivity metrics to ensure that staff structures are running efficiently.
5. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate outbound activities and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
6. Process and operational improvements within the return to supplier function.
7. Strategic reviews of departmental KPIs and SLAs.
8. Daily, weekly & monthly commercial reporting management.
9. Liaise with and work with other departments.
10. Optimizing all workflow activities within the different stakeholders and departments.
11. Collaborate with line managers to identify staff training and development needs for improved performance.
12. Demonstrate, train, and enforce Operational "Best Practices".
13. Assist in the coaching of staff towards meeting and exceeding performance expectations for quantity, quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
14. Identify areas that need the most improvement and report to GM Operations for quality and performance enhancement.
15. Manage performance with all staff within the department.
16. Train and support the understanding of operational KPIs.
17. Work on ad hoc projects and events.
18. Preparation of management reports.
19. Collaborate with project and operations managers.

Qualifications and attributes:

1. Tertiary qualification / Diploma preferred in Logistics/Operations Management/Supply Chain Management / Engineering or Business/Commerce Preferred.
years field experience in operations.
3. Experience in the management of stock.
4. Full understanding of a WMS, application, troubleshooting, and reporting dashboards.
5. Minimum 3 years' experience in management role in operations.
