About the Role:

As a Logistics Project Manager at On Line Personnel, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing logistics solutions to support production, procurement, and export projects. This includes analyzing and maintaining logistics planning contracts, preparing detailed logistics material flow concepts, and conceiving, designing, and procuring logistics facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare detailed logistics material flow concepts in production and warehouse environments for optimal solutions;
  • Prepare detailed layouts, drawings, and job specifications for specialized facilities;
  • Conceive, design, and procure logistics facilities, such as stillages, pallets, dunnage, trolleys, racking, general storage facilities, and packaging;
  • Define detailed project plans for coordinating and monitoring;
  • Prepare enquiry requests to obtain quotations from suppliers and evaluate adjudicated quotations;
  • Negotiate with suppliers and prepare appropriation requests to justify capital expenditure;
  • Prepare and issue purchase requisitions and arrange for project/facility/service acceptance and hand-over;
  • Prepare budget prices for corporate investment programs, cost studies, localization, and export projects;
  • Develop and introduce packaging specifications;
  • Draft and update logistics material handling contract specifications.

Requirements:
  • Degree or National Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or Purchasing;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with logistics processes in a manufacturing environment;
  • Minimum of 18 months' experience in project management;
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision and work under pressure;
  • Good planning, organizing, and decision-making abilities to meet tight deadlines;
  • Able communicator with good written and verbal skills;
  • Proficiency in producing, understanding, and interpreting 3D CAD drawings;
  • Full computer literacy in Microsoft packages, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word;
  • Advanced Excel skills required.

Added Advantage:
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing environments;
  • Experience with SAP systems in supply chain management.
