Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Communicate Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the group, including tax advice and support to the in-house tax practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage annual forecasts and budgets, analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Operations: Manage external audits and treasury operations, authorize and review financial reporting, and ensure compliance with CIPC, direct and indirect taxation returns.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a small team, maximizing engagement, performance, and deliverables, provide professional support through mentorship and clear communication of roles and responsibilities, and create and manage KPIs.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes, and ensure clarity of company and team strategy among team members.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a CA (SA)
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and processes, with Sage X3 experience being beneficial
  • Deep understanding of tax laws and current legislation
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Hands-on, business-oriented approach
  • Strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities
Qualifications:
  • CA (SA) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
