Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality back-end RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, and create engaging front-ends using React and JavaScript.
  2. Improve and enforce our coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure code maintainability and quality.
  3. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to architectural discussions.
  4. Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles, writing unit tests and integration tests for robust software.
  5. Ensure your team adheres to our end-to-end SDLC (Scrum-based) and drives productivity by tracking key metrics and implementing improvements.
  6. Guide your team in producing technical documentation.

  8. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous growth and learning.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • You hold a solid background in software development through a relevant engineering degree and at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • You have 6+ years of experience with Java development and Spring Boot.
  • You possess 2+ years of experience with front-end development using React.
  • You're well-acquainted with TDD, unit testing, and continuous integration.
  • You've worked as part of a scrum team and possess a good understanding of agile methodologies.
  • You're familiar with industry-standard development practices like SOLID, DRY, and design patterns.
  • You've worked with both relational and NoSQL databases, having a good grasp of SQL.
