  • Create an environment where managers and teams can challenge the status quo to achieve continuous improvement goals.
  • Develop risk plans that support the implementation of the business strategy.
  • Prevent losses by ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain alignment of area business processes and systems with the Group Risk Frameworks.
  • Analyze information generated from risk exercises and inform business stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Track the performance of the Risk Management team.
  • Mitigate risks by providing relevant information, guidance, and advice to the business.
  • Evaluate and analyze area audit findings and management improvement comments.
  • Meet financial objectives and ensure improvements on identified risks.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships through engagement.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders to facilitate the accomplishment of risk and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
  • BCom (Hons) (Financial Management, Accounting, Auditing, Information Systems or Risk Management)
  • Member of the Institute of Risk Management of South Africa and/or Compliance Institute of South Africa
  • Institute of Risk Managers
