The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus is looking for qualified candidates in the field of Commerce to enhance the teaching and research capabilities within the Faculty of Management Studies for the following academic role:

  • Copywriting

Role Objective:

The main objective of this role is to provide effective teaching and facilitation on academic qualifications, alongside engaging in all related academic activities that foster student success and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Qualifications:

Preferred:

  • An honours degree or diploma in Information Systems/Computer Science with Marketing up to a second-year level.

Alternatively:

  • An Honours degree in a business-related field (e.g., Business Management, Supply Chain Management) with completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year level;

or

  • An honours degree in Marketing with completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year level;

or

  • An Honours degree in Web Programming and Marketing obtained during undergraduate studies.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Industry experience in commerce is preferred.
  • Teaching experience in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain, or Project Management.
  • Experience as an entrepreneur, project manager, or supply chain manager.
  • Project management experience in marketing or the development of marketing strategies or tools.

Work Environment:

  • This is an Independent Contractor position.

  • This position is part-time.
