At 7 Sir's Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role will be instrumental in driving our company's success by ensuring the effective management of construction costs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both government and private sector tenders, as well as a solid understanding of construction cost management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing procurement strategies and cost control processes, preparing tender documents and contracts, and conducting tender evaluations.

Key responsibilities include preparing and analysing tender costings, minimising project costs, and providing advice on contractual claims and managing variations.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for attending site progress meetings, valuing completed work, and issuing progress payments to subcontractors.

Key requirements include a valid driver's license and own reliable transport, proven experience with Government and Private Sector Tenders, and experience in preparing estimates of construction costs.

We are looking for someone who is skilled in measurement of building quantities for bill preparations and final accounts, and able to draft Bills of Quantities.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in conducting site visits and site measurements, and be proficient in preparing valuations for interim payments.

Knowledge of cost management on construction projects and experience with notifications and claims for extensions of time are also essential.
