The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing project budgets, conducting detailed cost estimating and analysis, and preparing tender documentation. They will also be responsible for evaluating contracts, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and providing cost-related advising on various projects.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage project budgets to ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct detailed cost estimating and analysis for construction projects
• Prepare tender documentation and participate in the bidding process
• Evaluate contracts and manage negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
• Provide cost-related advising on various projects to ensure client satisfaction
• Monitor project expenses and prepare regular financial reports
• Conduct site visits to oversee progress and compliance with cost estimates

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or other building-related qualification
• Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP
• 6-10 years of experience in quantity surveying
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Facilities Management
• Proven track record of managing budgets for large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management practices
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel and Word

Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be between R40,000 - R50,000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
