Job Title: Cleaner

SA Steelworks is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join their team in Airport Industria, Cape Town.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of work areas in all departments
  • Clean and maintain floors, work areas, and furniture
  • Empty and clean waste containers daily
  • Clean areas surrounding buildings, such as paths and entrances
  • Assist managers and other senior staff members with ad hoc duties
  • Adhere to all COVID-19 protocols in place
  • Perform a variety of physical labor tasks in the production department
Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade 10
  • 3-5 years of experience as a cleaner
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Must be presentable and punctual
  • Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, and reliability
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety rules
  • Good communication skills
  • Good physical health and fitness
