The primary responsibility of the Janitor/Cleaner is to provide an efficient and effective cleaning service for the NTT offices, ensuring a high standard of cleaning is delivered and maintained.

**Working at NTT**

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Provide a complete office cleaning function with limited or no guidance
- Ensure a high standard of office cleanliness
- Vacuum all carpeted areas using vacuum cleaners, including rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture
- Sweep and mop all tiled or laminated or wooden floor areas, including kitchen and bathroom floors using brooms and mops and water filled with the correct chemicals
- Dust and polish furniture, desks, equipment, including telephones, printers and photocopiers and skirting boards and wipe down kitchen counters, sinks and appliances
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, countertops, appliances and empty wastebasket
- Ensure that dirty dishes are washed and dried
- Refill paper towels, toilet paper dispensers and refill or replace liquid soap dispensers as required
- Ensure that office refreshments, such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar, etc and related dispensers are replenished and refilled as required
- Ensure that the relevant events are supported with the provision of stocked and replenished refreshment stations in the form of tea, coffee, milk, cutlery and crockery, etc
- Answer and respond to and resolve cleaning related queries or escalate more complex queries to the relevant individual
