Job Title: Resident Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team at Curiska. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Supervision: You will be responsible for supervising the construction of pipelines and pump stations, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with approved plans, schedules, and specifications.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: You will develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to ensure effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, office personnel, and contractors.
  • Quality Assurance: You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with ISO accreditation standards, and that quality assurance procedures are implemented and monitored.
  • Issue Resolution: You will act as the on-site liaison for issue resolution, working closely with clients, office personnel, and contractors to resolve any issues that may arise during the project.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: You will have a BTech or National Diploma in Civil Engineering, and be registered as a Pr TechEng or PrTechni with ECSA.
  • Experience: You will have at least 5 years' experience post-registration in construction, project site supervision, and contract administration, with experience in supervising the construction of pipelines and pump stations.
  • Skills: You will have proficiency in MS Office, and working knowledge of specifications and Bill of Quantities.
