Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Club Maintenance Manager to join our team at Virgin Active South Africa.
- To evolve our purpose of inspiring people to live active lives by working towards creating a global Social Wellness Club.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance within their club, ensuring exceptional member experiences.
- Complete preventative maintenance activities on equipment such as out-of-warranty fitness equipment, HVAC systems, hot and cold-water systems, and building maintenance tasks.
- Respond to all emergency repairs and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved to the relevant managers.
- Ensure the preventative maintenance within the clubs is completed in line with VASA policies & procedures.
- Fulfill duties which cover Health and Safety processes and checks required to maintain H&S compliance within the club.
- Advanced relevant Technical qualification.
- A minimum of 2-3 years proven maintenance experience, including hands-on experience of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and plant equipment.
- Proven experience in managing maintenance costs and health and safety checks and processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
