About Us

We are a leading technology company providing innovative solutions to our clients. We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity and Network Expert to join our team at Altron.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT team to design, implement, and maintain our network architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor LAN and WAN network using on-site monitoring appliances
  • Respond to and troubleshoot network faults involving fibre optic, copper, and wireless mediums
  • Liaise with network service providers regarding breakdowns and performance issues
  • Design and implement network architecture as per client requirements, liaising with suppliers and service providers, and coordinating the on-site cabling team
  • Monitor and administer client CCTV system consisting of IP and analog cameras and Windows Servers running Milestone VMS
  • Assist with client-specific software administration which includes Stratodesk NoTouch software, Milestone VMS, Zscaler, Zoom, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Microsoft Active Directory
  • Assist with handling overflow of first-line support calls, including user administration and desktop incidents
  • Create and update documentation related to network design and configuration
  • Provide first-line network assistance after hours on a rotating weekly schedule

Requirements:

  • CCNA minimum +2 years' experience
  • Ubiquiti Unifi network device experience +1 year
  • HPE Aruba network device experience +2 years
  • Experience with Industrial Ethernet/IP systems advantageous (Rockwell, Allen-Bradley)
  • Wireshark analysis experience
