Job Description

As an IT Business Analyst at CHEP, you will play a critical role in helping the company achieve its business objectives by analyzing and improving business processes and technology systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology solutions.
  • Work with business stakeholders and IT managers to develop and implement solutions that meet business needs and deliver value within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with global IT strategies, enterprise architecture, and best practices, as well as all relevant local, regional, and global governmental regulations.
  • Reinforce project goals and objectives to prevent scope creep and gold plating.
  • Recommend solution options that directly impact the success of a project or initiative.
  • Effectively communicate with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, systems analysts, developers, and quality assurance analysts to ensure requirements are clearly stated, buildable, and testable.
  • Oversee the successful completion of User Acceptance Testing, tracking testing progress and defect resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a relevant field.
  • Certifications in business analysis, project management, or related fields are preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on IT and technology.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Proven success in improving the customer experience.
  • Experience working within a matrix structure.
  • Experience working remotely with globally scattered users and teams.
  • Experience influencing others with limited or no direct authority.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to put the pieces together and inspire others to think creatively and identify innovative solutions.
  • Leverage a holistic view of people, processes, and technology.
  • Use a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in understandable terms to all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity, with the ability to adapt to and embrace changing situations as opportunities rather than obstacles.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on IT and technology.
