As a Project Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions and quotations based on customer requirements, converting quotations to orders, and working closely with engineers and programmers to ensure technical compatibility of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translating customer requirements into highly specified project briefs
  • Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
  • Creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Presenting proposals to clients
  • Working closely with engineers and programmers to ensure technical compatibility of solutions
  • Generating costing spreadsheets and calculation final selling price for solutions
  • Maintaining and improving customer relations
Requirements:
  • Formal tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
  • Driver's license with Code 8
  • Proficiency in English, Afrikaans, and German languages
  • Experience in sales and marketing, project management, and automation field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in turnkey projects
