About the RoleThe Digital Marketing Director is a key position responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns that promote the company and its products or services. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space, driving website traffic, and acquiring leads/customers.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a cohesive digital marketing plan to increase brand awareness and revenue. Set current and long-term goals for internal teams. Design and review the Marketing department's budget.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage the digital marketing team. Guide the content team in crafting engaging and SEO-friendly content. Collaborate with other teams and departments to integrate marketing strategies.
- Campaign Management: Launch and oversee online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. to increase company and brand awareness. Oversee SEO and SEM strategies. Manage email and social media marketing campaigns.
- Analytics and Reporting: Use analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company's digital marketing strategy's effectiveness. Maintain knowledge of the marketing technology landscape, analytics, and business intelligence. Provide end-to-end project management for all digital campaigns.
- Innovation and Adaptation: Identify and test new digital platforms and tools. Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments. Adapt strategies based on analytical data and emerging trends.
- Communication: Communicate digital marketing plans and strategies to senior management. Supervise the design of all digital media elements, including the company website and individual project microsites.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital technologies, or a related field. An advanced degree, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA), can be an added advantage.
- Certifications (optional but beneficial): Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or other relevant digital marketing certifications.
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Digital Marketing Strategist or Digital Marketing Manager. Strong experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM software. Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and project management skills. Strong team leading and team management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
This role demands a quick learner, adaptable, and continuously focused on improving digital strategies based on data-driven decisions. A successful Digital Marketing Director must balance creative and analytical capabilities, being both imaginative and technically inclined.
