Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our internal teams and external brokers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal staff to resolve client issues and provide exceptional service.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, informing strategic decisions to drive business growth.
  • This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance – NQF Level 5 or higher – essential
  • Advanced Certificate in Short Term Insurance – NQF 6 – highly advantageous
  • Successfully passed RE 5 (Representative Exam) - essential
  • Provide evidence of being on the FSCA Register (DOFA date) – essential
  • Advanced product knowledge and application in respect of all classes of insurance (Personal & Commercial Lines)
  • A minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience - essential
  • A minimum of 5 years related Short-Term Insurance Sales experience working at an Insurer or Risk Carrier - essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of the corporate broking environment, current market trends within the industry, external factors that could impact the business, as well as a sound understanding of competitor product offerings
