Accountancy Placements Pietermaritzburg is a reputable organization seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team. Our company provides accounting services and requires a skilled individual to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, backup systems, and network equipment. This includes implementing, managing, and improving company policies and procedures, as well as managing and supporting printing equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for budgeting and purchasing all information technology products and proposing any improvements to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, MS SQL Server, and Windows desktop operating systems. You should also have experience with hardware and software troubleshooting for desktop and server equipment and proficiency in networking technologies such as VoIP, VPN, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Additionally, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and learn quickly. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are also essential.
