Key Responsibilities
  • Process Management: Ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
  • Production Planning: Manage and oversee all aspects of the production process to meet quality standards and regularity requirements.
  • Mechanical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with machinery and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train production staff to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate supply.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of the production budget, monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a production management role, preferably in the steel industry or related manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in project planning, team management, production planning, quality control standards, interpreting production data and metrics, lean manufacturing, and health and safety.
  • Ability to read and draw technical drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of electrics and electronics.
  • Ability to program on CNC code.
