Job Description

**Job Title:** Assistant Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Profile Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support, team management, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support:
    • Assist with the smooth running of daily tasks, including managing inventory, overseeing staff schedules, and handling customer inquiries or complaints.
    • Address operational issues and resolve conflicts that arise within the team or with customers.
  • Team Management:
    • Help manage and train staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Assist in setting goals for team members, provide feedback, and support their development through coaching and mentoring.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain records of sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics. Assist in preparing reports for the Manager or higher-ups.
    • Ensure that the team complies with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Customer Service:
    • Engage with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.
    • Gather customer feedback to help improve service and operations.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Assist in implementing business strategies and initiatives developed by upper management.
    • Take on specific projects or tasks as directed by the Manager to support organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and Communication:
    • Ability to motivate and guide a team, often stepping in as a leader in the Manager's absence.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and implement solutions effectively.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Capable of juggling multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
    • Focused on maintaining high standards and accuracy in all aspects of the role.
  • Must have supervisory experience – not a junior role
  • MUST have FMCG experience FOOD
