About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent illustration or graphic design skills, with the ability to interpret and create visualizations from technical drawings. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.



Responsibilities


  • Interpret and visualize technical drawings to produce high-quality graphics
  • Liaise with technical authors to understand their requirements and needs
  • Produce iterations of graphics until they meet the required standards
  • Closely collaborate with the Design Office for vetting and approval
  • Maintain a patient and professional demeanor when working under pressure


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A degree or diploma in illustration or graphic design (or related field)
  • Alternatively, a certificate in illustration or graphic design (or related field) plus 3-5 years of experience


We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
