The Talent Barn is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Designer to join their growing team. As a key member of the design team, you will play a vital role in bringing concepts to life and contributing to the overall creative vision of the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the head of design and marketing team to develop innovative design solutions
  • Creating high-quality assets for use on multiple channels, campaigns, and marketing materials, including social media content, newsletters, print media, and in-house collateral
  • Interpreting client creative briefs to deliver assets that support campaign objectives and adhere to provided CI guidelines
  • Editing, resizing, and refreshing supplied artwork to client specifications
  • Maintaining organized design files and assets for easy accessibility and future reference
  • Staying up-to-date on relevant design and advertising trends to introduce fresh ideas and concepts
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of the brand identity

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification or National Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a graphic design/creative role
  • Familiarity with designing for social media and digital platforms, and relevant best practices

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience in other creative tools, such as animation, video editing, UX/UI, and AI
  • A solid foundation of design principles, with a strong understanding of typography and composition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • An understanding of copywriting for social media, basic knowledge of print production processes, and materials
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A flexible approach, capable of adapting to shifting priorities as needed
  • The ability to work independently, with a high level of personal accountability
