Role Overview

Ananzi seeks a seasoned Executive Director to spearhead the strategic direction and growth of our organisation. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record of driving business results in the ICT sector.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Plan: Lead the development and execution of Ananzi's strategic plan to ensure effective delivery of our mandate.
  2. Drive Digital Transformation: Foster digital transformation and innovation in the delivery of universal access to ICT services.
  3. Financial Management: Oversee financial management, including budget preparation, expenditure control, and compliance with relevant legislation.
  4. Operational Efficiency: Guide cost-effective measures to ensure operational expenditure is contained within approved limits.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including government entities, private sector partners, and civil society, to foster collaboration and partnerships.
  6. Corporate Governance: Ensure Ananzi operates in a transparent, efficient, and accountable manner, in compliance with corporate governance frameworks.
  7. Universal Service Fund: Oversee the management and performance of the Universal Service and Access Fund (USAF).
  8. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a high-performing executive team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  9. Representation: Represent Ananzi at national and international forums on ICT and digital inclusion.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. A postgraduate degree in Telecommunications, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. A Master's degree relevant to the ICT sector will be an added advantage.
  3. 10 to 15 years of relevant executive and strategic management experience, with at least 5 years at an executive level in the ICT sector.
  4. A proven track record as a business leader that consistently delivered great results.
  5. Experience in managing relationships with Boards, regulatory authorities, and government stakeholders.
  6. Strong understanding of ICT policy formulation, regulations, and digital inclusion strategies.
  7. Demonstrated experience in corporate governance, financial oversight, and risk management.
  8. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
