  • Operate cast line machinery to produce high-quality plastic products
  • Monitor and control machine parameters to ensure optimal production
  • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve production goals and standards
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating cast line machinery in a plastic extrusion operation
  • Grade 12 / Matric compulsory
  • Clear criminal record
  • Certificate or diploma in plastic manufacturing or extrusion operations advantageous
  • Located in the eThekwini area
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to be self-directed and multitask
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Timeliness
  • Ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane license and operate a forklift and overhead crane
  • Must be prepared to work shifts
  • Work overtime on request
  • Must have own reliable transport to and from Cato Ridge
  • Good timekeeping and attendance essential
