Job Description

Our company, Salesworx, is a leading supplier of high-quality furniture to the corporate and hospitality markets. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. This role involves selling our company's full range of office and hospitality furniture, as well as our metal fabrication products, to various industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and managing the entire sales process. This position requires a self-starter who is willing to travel extensively within South Africa and neighboring countries as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Target Potential Clients
    • Identify and target potential clients in the corporate, hospitality, electrical, data, brand rollout, agriculture, and telecoms industries.
  • Develop and Maintain Client Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Conduct Client Visits and Presentations
    • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Manage the Sales Process
    • Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals and after-sales support.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Team
    • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful delivery and installation of products.
  • Stay Informed about Industry Trends
    • Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitors to remain competitive in the market.
  • Attend Trade Shows and Events
    • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote our company's products and services.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Education
    • A tertiary degree or diploma, or proof of other tertiary education, is required.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel is required) and CRM software.
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in sales, preferably in office furniture or related industries.
  • Travel Requirements
    • Must have own car and a valid driver's license.
    • Must be willing to travel extensively within South Africa and neighboring countries.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
