Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shift Laboratory Analyst to join our team at NEOC Group Pty Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting quality control measures in accordance with the Quality Management System by performing analytical services.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with laboratory management to ensure that all analytical tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical tasks as assigned by laboratory management, adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct chromatographic analysis, dissolution testing, IR testing, UV testing, titrations, and physical tests using appropriate apparatus.
  • Verify the calibration date of apparatus and available standards before use.
  • Maintain the Quality Management System in the laboratory according to Good Documentation, Manufacturing, and Laboratory practices.
  • Prepare reagents correctly and accurately according to SOPs and applicable methods, documenting relevant details.

Requirements

  • Relevant diploma or degree in Analytic Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience as an analyst, preferably with HPLC experience.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and ability to apply statistical rules/analysis to laboratory decision-making processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
