About the Position

The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical and communication skills, with a deep understanding of the specialist/technical nature of life claims assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth analysis of life insurance claims, including policy documents and medical reports
  • Effective communication with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders regarding claim status and decisions
  • Collaboration with medical professionals to ensure accurate assessment of medical conditions
  • Maintenance of accurate records and adherence to regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a Life Assessor or similar role
  • FAIS certification (Further Education and Training Certificate – FETC – IN Short Term Insurance, Long Term Insurance, or Retail Insurance)
  • RE5 qualification
  • Prior work experience in long term insurance services, financial services, or an insurance company would be advantageous
  • A medical qualification would be an asset
