Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Manager

JET Education Services (JET) is a leading provider of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) solutions. We are seeking an experienced M&E Specialist Manager to join our team and take the lead in conceptualising and delivering high-quality M&E work.

This is an exciting opportunity to join JET and play a key role in shaping our organisational strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing monitoring and evaluation projects, including internal M&E support for JET projects/programmers and external evaluations and other consultancy work.

The M&E Specialist Manager will oversee the Johannesburg-based M&E team on a day-to-day basis and deputise for the Executive Manager when required. Key tasks include:

  • Team development and leadership
  • Business development and growth
  • Project management and implementation
  • Line management and mentoring
  • Reporting and communication

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 3 years of management experience
  • Strong skills in conceptualisation, data collection and analysis, report writing, and presentation
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
