Responsibilities- Drive policy sales and maximize monthly written premiums while ensuring compliance and a customer-focused approach.
- Maintain responsiveness, professionalism, and courtesy when engaging with lead providers and customers.
- Execute the sales process with expertise, diligence, integrity, and a strong knowledge base.
- Offer competitor quotes when relevant to align with customer needs and provide suitable options.
- Enhance each sales opportunity by offering additional products where available.
- Utilize effective interpersonal and communication skills to build customer confidence and product acceptance.
- Identify customer needs through active listening and asking insightful questions.
- Align product benefits with customer requirements and clearly demonstrate value.
- Address and resolve customer objections with well-considered responses.
- Develop industry expertise through continuous learning, observation, and collaboration.
- Continuously refine skills by focusing on identified areas for improvement.
- Contribute ideas and insights to enhance the overall effectiveness of the sales team.
- Matric/Grade 12
- RE5
- FETC: Short-term Insurance NQF4 or better (preferred)
- Meet the regulatory requirements (e.g. DOFA period, FAIS Fit & Proper)
- 3 years call centre sales experience
- 1 year outbound call centre sales experience
- 2 years motor and home sales experience
- Fluency in English is essential plus one other official language
