Job Overview
Boikago Group is seeking an experienced Head of Security to lead our security operations in South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective security strategies to protect our employees, assets, and reputation.

About the Role
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the security industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role. They will possess comprehensive knowledge of crisis management, investigations, operational security, and international security exposure. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure ongoing alignment with Boikago Group's security standards.
- Manage the development and implementation of risk management activities to enhance the value of the company and Group.
- Lead security and fire risk management activities to maintain continuity of operations and safeguard the company, its people, operations, executives, etc.
- Oversee incident response planning including the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches.
- Identify protection goals, objectives, and metrics consistent with corporate strategic plan.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Security Risk Management, with focus on Business Management.
- Comprehensive security experience in various security areas e.g. crisis management, investigations, operational security, international security exposure, etc.
- Experience with security auditing, security risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage, advise, guide, and lead a security team.
