We are seeking an experienced Compliance Monitoring Specialist to join our team at EMEA3 Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying potential risks.
The Compliance Monitoring Specialist will develop a risk-based annual compliance monitoring plan, execute monitoring reviews, and provide assurance to the board on the adequacy of controls and systems. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline, a post-graduate compliance qualification, and minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in compliance monitoring or regulatory compliance risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute compliance monitoring reviews to identify potential risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement the Compliance Risk Management Plans (CRMPs) and perform compliance monitoring reviews by identifying and risk rating applicable provisions, analysing and testing controls, and presenting monitoring outcomes to business stakeholders.
- Provide timely communication on the results of compliance monitoring reviews to SBUs/Departments, and management as and when the identified gaps are confirmed.
- Drive continuous improvement across the business by ensuring that statutory and legislative knowledge is always current, and stakeholders are engaged effectively to facilitate the establishment of a compliance culture that contributes to prudent risk management.
